I adore my media teacher. She's crazy and we have such a good laugh with her. Recently we've been having philosophical debates in class and she came out with something she talked about in her R.E. (religious education) class. "How do you know your house will be still there when you get back? It was okay for me cos I lived right next to the school and could see it through the window."

The debate was about faith basically. Faith in a sense of trust.

But that got me thinking about people interpretations of faith.

When most people hear the word "faith" they automatically assume that the person saying it is refering to religion.

It seems faith is a word used to refer to religion in a more welcoming sense. Most people I know run a mile at the whisper of the 'r' word.


I was curious of what the artists here of dA think about when they hear the word "faith". Wanting to research this I typed "faith" in to the search bar and carefully selected a variation of photographic visulisations of faith to share with you.
