They're also indicative of weak writing ... but why? This article covers why adverbs are evil and what you can do to avoid using them.

In the ongoing effort to support Back to Basics month, this article attempts to provide a brief overview for writers struggling to find their voice.

Poets Helping Poets

~Teague-Drydan:iconTeague-Drydan: reports, March 28
It recently dawned on me that there are a lot of young poets out there (by "young poets" I mean those who are just starting out, not their actual age) who have questions and the like but have nowhere, really, to go.

To rememdy this, I'm starting a project, Poets Helping Poets, but any writer can apply, where young poets can get matched up to olde poets. If you would like to participate in this project, whether you are a young or olde poet, either comment here or (even better) send me a note!

Thanks,
~Teague-Drydan
