Greetings all, this is ~cardboard-jukebox and =Neko-Fayth, here to tell you about an exciting new club-wide event! Welcome to Fairy Tale Royale, a battle of wits and quest for greatness. A fairy tale, that you have yet to write.

Once upon a time...

when magic still flourished, there was a very greedy and proud king. The king was rich and his kingdom prosperous, but still he was not satisfied. His mounds of gold and jewels were not enough, he desired items of a more mystic nature. So one day, a royal proclamation was made and posted through out the kingdom:

"Hear ye, hear ye. To all who read this proclamation, be ye knight or mage, noble or peasant, His Majesty the King, our generous ruler, has announced that whomever can bring him what he desires shall be granted one wish. On the fourteenth day of the month of April at the Royal Palace of His Majesty the King, a list shall be produced dictating what it is His Majesty desires. All who believe they have the skill and the ability to obtain these items should be present at the reading on this day. Signed, His Majesty, the King."

Word quickly spread through out his own land, and soon the King's proclamation spread to every corner of the world. Every creature with a wish traveled to the kingdom in hopes of finding the thing His Majesty desired, knowing only one would.

The Contest:
"Fairy Tale Royale" is a tournament style contest with a twist. As opposed to having to just fight an opponent, contestants will be paired off and have to beat their opponent to a magical item through the form of a comic. Contestants will then vote on who they believe best fulfilled the task and the winner will move onto the next round. The winner will also obtain the magic item of that round and any item their opponent possessed. To obtain the item one may out smart their opponent, defeat them in battle, or obtain it in any other way they see fit.

Entry and Deadlines:
In order to enter you must submit a character profile and note the club saying you wish to join the competition with this character. Only one entry per person. The deadline to enter is April 13, 11:59 p.m. central time. On April 14 pairs and items will be announced, so no entries will be taken after that.

Prizes:
Yes, what you all REALLY care about. As of now there will be two prizes: First place will receive a colored picture from our lovely leader =Neko-Fayth, and second place will receive a an inked picture from her. More prizes WILL be added as they are confirmed, so keep checking back.
