1) Why do you want it? The colours are great in it, they match a lot of what I have painted on my walls at home. Its a great piece and makes me think of a fairy tale character meeting with nature, and since I love nature, I like the scenario. 2) Why should you have it? Besides the fact that I would love it and appreciate it, there is nothing else that I think puts me above the rest of the people that want art. 3)Where would you hang or put the print? I would probably get it framed and hang it in the living room or either by the kitchen table, it would get a lot of views and 'Ohs' and 'Ahs' that way
Fantastic features! and thanks so much for featuring one of mine
Now, onto the contest! and lol @ making "read them again" an actual rule... I mean, with that as the last rule to read the rules again, it could become an endless cycle </dork>
Print:[link] Size: 12x18 Finish: Matte Added to wishlist!
1) Why do you want it? Because I'm a fan of both the artist and the subject of the picture and I'd love some of her artwork anyway. Also, this is a vexel artwork which is my favourite medium and technique. 2) Why should you have it? Because I've never really won anything and have no money to buy stuff for myself 3)Where would you hang or put the print? On the chimney brest above the TV.
1) Why do you want it? Because I love the "old" feeling it has to it and it just has that "woo" factor
2) Why should you have it? because Im always getting things for everyone else, Im a giver not a taker. So yeah it would be nice to be the one getting something for once
3)Where would you hang or put the print? In the bathroom hehe. I really need something on the wall in there, and this would look great in there
have added to wishlist, Size - 11 x 14 Frame - Wedge ( or do you mean if its 11 x 14 I cant have a frame? if thats the case then no frame hehe )
What a creative idea, and excellent features to choose from as well.
Print:[link] Size: 12x18 Finish: Matte And I added it to my wishlist!
Why do I want it? This one stood out the most to me out of all the others, mainly because I am learning to be a pilot and plan to be a commercial pilot once done college. Seeing the world from the view pictured in this piece is an amazing sight, and the piece captures all those feelings of flying that I enjoy so much. Why should I have it? Because I would love to have a piece of artwork that says, "See this view? This is why I fly." And my walls are quite empty right now... Where would I put it? In my room above my desk so I can look at it all the time, and it is the first thing seen when entering the room.
Now it's time for August 2008 Visual Art Features, many new art to discover!
Don't forget that many artists need to be viewed, they deserve it! Fave Fave Fave! My main purpose in doing a monthly feature about (to my point of view) 'the best visual art' is to put in the same level as well wellknown artists and popular creations as unknown artists and under-exposed creations. Artists need to be supported. So don't be shy!
Here's the Menu per Category :
