Deviantart is the place to submit all of your art. If it is photography or original art. Everything can be placed. Though, some people abuse the space on Deviantart. Then we come to the question. What is the taste of most deviants? I am here to show you some great artworks.

Deviations are placed all over the world. Though there are specific categories that are more popular then others.

Manga and Anime


Manga and Anime is still very popular. Though, we see a lot of kinds of manga. Almost every beginning artist draws manga. We seem to forget what Manga really is.

So what is Manga?
"Many people might say "Manga are Japanese comics, and Anime is the Japanese version of animation. Anime is usually, but not always, the animated version of popular manga." That's partially true, but it can be misleading. (Note that "anime" in Japan technically means any animated film, and "manga" is any printed cartoon, but people in the rest of the world take them to mean animated films or comics from Japan.)"

Though, if people draw big eyes and a small nose they call it manga.
Its almost like you have to draw manga to get popular here.
Personally I think other greater works should get more popular.

Digital Art


Digital art is more populair then ever. Especially the Pepper Project hosted by
This sort of actions are very good. It gives every artist to make something for the same concept.

I adore this artist, and the most art that he makes. He really knows a lot about art, and his artworks do the job. That makes him deserved very popular on Deviantart.

Good ideas, and good execution. Deserved to be popular!

I watched him for a half year now. I think he makes great concepts and does lovely executions. He is not as popular as the great artist but he's on his way. Personally I adore his work

He makes great photographs and does some Ideals gone Wrong besides. The concepts are great, and i like the stories he tells in only 1 piece.

I think some artists deserve to be populair. Some other artist just don't. I think making Emo pictures with ur webcam is art, and i certainly don't think every manga we see these days are deserved popular. Some are but ugly!
I hope that in the future the manga loses its popularity and that other artist become more famous.
