How much do you know about April Fools Day?Here's a quick history about the day,
A long, long, not so long time ago we did use the regular calender that we use now
We used the "Julian" Calender.
But then in 1582 the catholic church decided they would change the calender to a more standadised calender.
So the gregorian calender was born (the one we use now).
So what does this have to do with April fools, you say.
In the old calender New years day was the 1st of April (see where I'm going?)
Anyway in the gregorian calender we have New years day on the 1st of January.
But when the change came around there were a lot of people who didn't hear or like the change
and continued to celebrate New Years on the 1st of April, these people were called "April Fools".
So the day because "April Fools" Day (Ta-Da).
So hopefully you have learned something.
