Hello to you splendidly wonderful deviantART people and artists out there, and I am quite *absolutely* delighted to be with you all for this very first premiere edition of the Featured Artist of the Month on dA, a special monthly news article series in which I will proudly give special awards on dA in which every month, I do present them indeed to such very deserving artist(s) here whose artworks are truly so awe-inspiring and/or just plain mind-blowing that they are TRULY never to be missed indeed!!!    Here, I will immediately open it up to these categories:

        Anthro
        Digital Art
        Manga/Anime
        Cartoons & Comics
        Pixel Art
        Traditional Art

For the Anthro category, I give this highly special award on dA to this extremely superb talent right here:

...whose own original anthro-based artworks are just nothing short of QUITE spectactularly amazing indeed, as she gives such an enthrallingly mystical quality and a sheer evoking sense of wonder as well as even a touch of such deeply passionate love, and she puts it all right into the pieces she creates, such as these ones right here:



...and I was absolutely blown away by it all, and also, I am rather impressed that she even embodies and fully honors the mighty and sacred spirit realm and its magnificently delicate balance in showing us how to embrace life and enjoy it all to its total fullest, and that is what her phenomenal-quality art designs are definitely all about!!! !!

My deepest congratulations to you, *Goldenwolf, for showing us the sheer beauty of how spirit-filled and most honorable anthro can actually be in such truly and cleverly damn amazing ways!!!  Come and get your award, and show it off proudly... YOU EARNED IT!!!

For the Digital Art category, since there are so many sub-categories within this main genre of art (which includes Drawings/Paintings, Vector Art, Fractal Art, Photomanipulations, 3d, and Mixed Media as well!), I have THREE awards to give out this month to three rather special and deserving people whose outstanding talents are well worthy of such widespread inspiration to audiences everywhere on dA, so here we go!!!  

I so personally believe with all of my heart that 3d and Poser works are just as totally acceptable an art form in its own right as Traditional Art, Fractal Art, a digital drawing/painting/airbrushing, or even a photomanipulation art piece, for example.  That said, I want to give this next award to none other than this truly damn gorgeously phenomenal artist named:

        *RainfeatherPearl

...whose SO MANY 3d-based Poser artworks of such ravishing and even so smolderingly white-hot and gorgeously sexiest women of the fantasy realms not only bring forth such a deep and utterly magnificently haunting awe that you just cannot even dare to miss period, but also they bring out such amazingly and most sensationally outstanding character development as well as raw and intensely powerful emotion indeed in that you can really feel, ache, and especially root for such women indeed, and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT ALL!!!!   !!

Take just one look at such pieces that she has put out over the past couple of years on deviantART already, such as these:



...and you will find out quite why.

*RainfeatherPearl is without a total doubt one of my ALL-TIME favorite artists on dA, and I am most purposely giving this Featured Artist of the Month award to her *simply* because of such indescribably outstanding art quality that she deliberately and most pleasurably encapsulates into her works so many times and then some ever since she has first signed on to this outstanding art community herself, which therefore made her such a phenomenal living example of why even Poser art is such an utterly and widely acceptable art form 100% indeed... no argument here!!!   !!

And that is simply my only one reason right there... period, end of the conversation, and that is just final.  

Congratulations especially to *RainfeatherPearl on such a most splendidly awesome win right here, and her gallery ([link]) is RATHER DEFINITELY a must-see and then some on deviantART, as it just showcases one of the rather hottest galleries that I am most personally sure a whole helluva lot of aspiring artists would be most heavily inspired and awed by, I must very honestly say!!!  Go check it out at once and just enjoy the hell out of it pronto... you’ll be quite glad you did!!!   !!



Continuing on with the Digital Art category for the month of April 2008, we now turn to the sub-category of Vector/Vexel Art... and with that, I will give the next Featured Artist of the Month award to this awesome person right here:

        *Medox

...who sets *quite* an amazing example after another to the Vector Art arena on dA, in that even if she uses just no more than only a few colors per artwork, she sure pulls off such mightily awesome works that richly bring out such GREAT fun as well as such excellently superb character designs that oozes forth a lot of amazing inspiration and life to wow us most truly indeed!!!   !  Here are many of her splendid artworks to show you just what I am talking about:



...and her own gallery ([link]) is full of such sheer creativity of what a vector artist can really do with a rather lot of hard, well-determined work and such an enormously fun and exciting sense of imagination, you know!?  

Be sure not to miss this extraordinary talent here on deviantART named *Medox ( ! ), because she is one of our newest recipients of this monthly award... outstandingly well done for her indeed!!!   !



The third Featured Artist of the Month award for the Digital Art category right here goes to such an explosively compelling powerhouse of an artist that I just could not even DARE resist at all this month, and that great person is:

        ~latent-talent

...who quite surprised the living hell out of us with such a phenomenal debut into the Digital Art scene on January 3, 2008 with his first digital painting of “The woman in red”, shown here:

       

...and since then, he *really* stepped up his A-game big-time and then some, because his digital artworks are so absolutely damn PHENOMENAL in that they can deceptively “trick” the viewer into thinking that they are photographs when actually they are just nothing less than such compellingly captivating and original digitally-painted artworks through their own disguises, and that is what totally makes the grade on deviantART these days, I TRULY gotta say!!!   !!

Take a look at his tremendously outstanding works in this category:



It may be a short order of digital works from the artist so far, but his artworks are so phenomenally excellent indeed that I just could not pass up on presenting to him this most prestigious monthly award on dA.  And just look at his gallery ([link])!!  It truly rewards the viewer with such fascinating insights and behind-the-scenes material about how all these utterly clever digital AND traditional works were actually made by him, which is such an awesomely sweet bonus!!!   !!

What an absolute honor it is for me to give ~latent-talent this monthly award, and HE DESERVES IT BIG... go ahead and congratulate him at his own page ([link]) for such astonishingly magnificent work that he has done!!!   !

For the Manga/Anime category, there is definitely one person that stands out as one of such truly special artists on deviantART today that deserves some special attention right here in this special article, and that person of whom I am giving this next award is none other than:

...who is such a splendid and most talented original anime/manga artist on dA that are TRULY as enthrallingly enchanting as they are indeed so awesomely beautiful!!!   !  Here is an amazing example of such damn wonderful artistic talent using none other than just traditional media that she brilliantly uses to such a excellent extent:

For these simple reasons, I am personally giving =cartoongirl7 my Featured Artist of the Month award indeed... and since she has not created any new artworks in just over three (3) months, I most CERTAINLY hope that this award indeed inspires her the sheer fire and passion to once again create and even step up such an amazing quality of original anime/manga designs that she simply knows best!!!   !!

In the meantime, do give her a huge round of applause for that big win here!!!

For the Cartoon & Comics category on dA, it was such a tough find for me to search for someone who I personally felt was well-deserving of this monthly award in this category indeed... somebody with such outstanding-quality artworks here that brilliantly showcases his/her own superbly excellent art-designing prowess.  However, I eventually have found just that ONE person who is just totally worthy of this most honorably special win, and for this very category, I am handing this next award to:

        *nebezial

...whose comic-based drawings are JUST ABSOLUTELY such mind-blowingly top-flight entertainment and then some... amazing colors, sharply-drawn characters, and rockin’ excellent details are what he most definitely pours his cunning heart and soul in when it comes to the very way that he draws, and here is just a splendid little sample of all of that he has done right here on deviantART:



...and you are *most* welcome to check out his phenomenal gallery ([link]), which is such pure gold right there and is quite a heavy-hitting helluva inspiration for that is especially recommended for anybody to see, I promise!!!   !

My enormous congratulations to *nebezial, our newest recipient of the Featured Artist of the Month award, and you had better not miss this most awesome man because he is just nothing less than an utterly damn magnificent Cartoon & Comics artist right here on dA.  Period, end of the converation, and that is plain final.   !!

Next, we go to the Pixel Art category, and within it, there is just one artist here who I have personally admired as one of the phenomenally excellent pixel artists of all time on deviantART... and with that being said now, this next Featured Artist of the Month award simply goes to none other than:

        ~AbyssWolf

...whose pixel artworks are summed up in just two words: UTTERLY CAPTIVATING!!!   !!

And last but DEFINITELY not least, we now come to a category known as Traditional Art.  You know, part of the sheer amazing beauty of deviantART is discovering some raw and untapped new talent... especially someone who has less than 2,000 pageviews but is so superbly excellent in the way that he/she creates his/her own artworks, seriously!!!   !  And that is just the subject of this special Featured Artist of the Month award this month which truly goes to:

        ~Acidtester

He may be quite an under-exposed traditional artist on dA, but if you look real good at the artworks that he does, you would sure find him to be one hell of an amazing talent indeed, creating such marvellous and *magnificently* superb works that you just gotta see, such as these:



A TRUE diamond in the rough where traditional artistry is concerned on dA, and it is rather a truly splendid surprise when such an untapped and rare new talent does something so seriously amazing in the overall quality of his/her own art like what ~Acidtester has just done, and that is an important part of what this phenomenal art community is really all about!!!  And since this person has less than just 2,000 pageviews at the time of this writing here, I think it is quite about time to give him the sheer recognition he deserves, and that is exactly the reason why I am giving this award to him in the first place!!    Congratulations to ~Acidtester for showing us such raw and superbly wonderful artistic talents from him indeed, and we are looking forward to seeing a lot more of him, too... keep that very awesome stuff coming!!!   !!
