HOW WAS DEVIANTART ABLE TO CHANGE OUR INDIVIDUAL ICONS?
Not only were our icons changed to Mudkips and back again, but we were prevented from changing our icons back to the original. Only deviants are able to change their own icon. This means that dA and its administrators (or whoever changed the icon) violated our privacy in order to pull a rather unamusing joke!
I'm sure I speak for many other deviants when I say I am shocked that deviantart would do such a thing. I always considered dA to be a great site with good rules and regulations, as well as administrators who enforced them. Now I'm not so sure...

And besides, DA holds all of your icons, how do you think they stay there? They probably have them all stored on a certain server, and then just over-rided your icons for the mudkip one. It would take too much time and manpower to go on each account and change your icon, no? They didn't get into your account or anything. And they didn't mess with any of your other stuff, right? So what's the problem?
I personally find it to be a great prank, and that people are getting all huffed up for nothing. :/
