WHAT IS FETISH?

Dictionary.com says:

1. an object regarded with awe as being the embodiment or habitation of a potent spirit or as having magical potency.

2. any object, idea, etc., eliciting unquestioning reverence, respect, or devotion: to make a fetish of high grades.

3. Psychology. any object or nongenital part of the body that causes a habitual erotic response or fixation.


WHAT ISN'T FETISH?

Fetish is not pornography, although it can involve erotic themes. Fetish photography on dA is not pornographic.

This gallery is not the place for photos of feet and shoes just because there are foot and shoe fetishes, but rather is a great fit for portraits of people that especially feature or focus on the feet in the context of a person. Just an example, mind you, as feet are quite a common, widespread fetish."

Please remember to always be respectful to both the photographer and model when commenting. Comments like “” or “That’s hot.” are usually unwanted and unappreciated. Instead, direct your comments towards emotion, composition, lighting, or colour.
