After somewhat of a hiatus due to lack of suggestions we're back in force with this dedicated project. Dedicated to what? now what, who: the Artistic Nude community!
"The City of Miami Beach is evicting almost all artisans from the premier visitor locations, and offering no alternatives. At least 50 artisans are affected, and for most the offering of their crafts at these locations was their only source of income. The city doesn't care even if some are incorporated in FL, pay taxes, have to support family and children. Basically they don't care if they loose their life and become homeless." ~LionheartLive

Its a crying shame... they did this in st. Augustine with the street performers. Used to the place was filled with music... no more.
I think street artisans would be desirable for tourists... doesn't make a lick of sense to me. However, the city could view it as squatting... but if it is public property they should totally be allowed. Idiots...

I've posted 9 photos of the old and new locations in my gallery. You can see the difference of activity between the two places. Many artisans have given up the new location and are looking for new venues.
Devious Comments
We took a lot of good-bye photos last weekend, I am collecting them and I'll post them soon.
I heard that the city is already planning to extend the ordinance to cover the new location, we are feeling like the hunted.
