Hello fellow Deviants!

I know most of you guys have a vehicle that we all love... (or hate).. and I wanted to let everyone know about the Toyota Tacoma "Recall" that I just recently heard about... they've been keeping it kind of hush, hush so I wanted to get the word out!

Evidently the 95 to 2000 Tacoma's are have problems with the frames rusting out before they are suppose to (go figure almost all Toyota's have rust issues). The frames are weakening faster due to rust problems because most trucks "may not have adequate corrosion protection." (from toyota.com)

They are having people take their '95 to '00 Tacoma's to the local Toyota Dealerships.. from there.. The dealership will do an inspection on the frame and if the frame fails inspection they will give you 1 1/2 TIMES the amount of your truck in the Kelly Blue Book at Excellent Condition (even if your truck isn't in excellent condition). If it still passes inspection they said they'd give you a 15 year warranty on the truck with the same conditions as above.
