I want to set up a fun community project involving a postcard exchange! There are deviants from all around the world on here, so why not take advantage of that and get postcards and possibly even an old fashioned pen pal out of it?

To protect people's addresses, here is the deal: if you are interested in joining the postcard exchange send me a note with the title 'ostcard Exchange' and in it tell me where you are from. Don't just give me your country - give me a more specific area. For example don't just tell me USA, tell me Kentucky, USA. I think it would be a great idea if you would include your first name as well. In a few days I will create a list of deviants interested in the postcard exchange and where they are from. You can then note a deviant on the list with your address and get their's in return. By doing it this way you have the option of sharing your address in a private note with those that you feel comfortable sharing it with. Plus you would have control over where you get postcards from! I would also recommend that you get a P.O. Box if you are uneasy with sharing your personal address. Those who are living with parents/guardians, please get their permission before you give out your address!

Okay, so now that the details are out of the way - lets add a fun twist to this! This is DeviantART after all, so instead of just hitting up the store and buying a postcard, why not create one to send out? Whether you take a photo and cut it to postcard size, draw a quick picture, or embellish it with ribbon, what is more fun than getting a personalized postcard in the mail? You could even custom make it to represent something about the deviant you are mailing it to! Of course, this is only optional. If you are interested in making/receiving homemade postcards, please add this in your note as well.
