The purpose of this article is to educate the anthro community on how to go about suggesting anthro-related Daily Deviation features.

There are two anthro gallery directors, please send your anthro Daily Deviation suggestions to ONE of the following:

Tips on how to make a suggestion:
Title your note "DD Suggestion."
Include a link to the piece.
Tell us why you think it deserves a DD (optional).
Do not complain if we don't respond or feature it.
We prefer unknown artists (optional).
If you have a problem with a DD we featured, read the DD Complaint FAQ and act accordingly.


What we look for:
When ^skifi and I assess suggestions for DDs, we look for certain qualities. If you are aware of these qualities, not only wil your suggestion have a higher likelihood of being featured, but it also improves the overall appearance of the anthro community.
First and foremost, images should not feature any policy violations. Please report these to the report desk.
Make sure your suggestion is not fanart or fantasy art. It must be anthro art for us to consider it.
The composition of an image makes a big difference. An image with a stagnant pose or limbs cut off by the crop, etc. are not generally good for features.
An image should be complete, not a work-in-progress.
Don't worry about whether or not your chosen artist has been featured before, leave that to ^skifi and I.
An image with unique characters is always a plus. There will always be more wolf anthros, but an image featuring a tree anthro, a rare-animal anthro, a hybrid anthro or an object that has been anthropomorphized, is much more interesting.
Think of a Daily Deviation image as the highest quality image you've run across in the anthro gallery, such as something you might see as professional artwork.
