This is a collection of deviations showing real Pinups in the classic Retro poses from various Artists. For the 4rd time I present a variation of Vintage Pinup Queens as well as fresh modern Pinup art. If you love Polkadots, seamed Nylons, Plateau-Heels and and Miles-long-legs you should not miss this collection.
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
It seems to me that the underground world of photography is going through a new trend. The bleached out, distorted colors that give photographs a vintage or retro feel has become the predominant voice of the popular photography section on deviant art. Whether its black and white or super saturated, the wave is becoming un-ignorable. Recently Ive given into the crowd and been experimenting more in PS with my gradients and selective color tools. Already Im seeing a small boom in popularity. I think this is the next big trend in the photography world that has yet to reach the mainstream. Coming from RIT I can already tell you it will meet with objection by the many purists and technical photographers out there. God forbid I ask the question no one wants to hear- would this photograph be as interesting without the manipulation? Im not going to touch that subject with a ten foot pole. But I foresee this being embraced by the few fine art/ad nuts and coming into the main. I could elaborate more on techniques and moods, but I prefer to let the images speak for themselves. So here is a tribute to the new trend.
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More

Here in this life
We seem so lost.
On this side of brightness
We don't know where to go.
