reports, June 9ok, this is the mother of all the futurama news, futurama is back again (like the 2nd coming of jesus!). finally the official press release we were waiting for was posted today at the comedy central press.
not only futurama returns on comedy central, but it returns with 26, yes 26 brand new episodes that will be available in the mid 2010 (and fox retains the option to license the original runs of the new episodes to a broadcast network)
since i've seen many futurama fans at da, i guess this is great news for all of them (including me)!.

"Futurama" cast in limbo?

reports, 9h 49m agoBad news, everyone! Just when you thought it was safe to be excited about the return of Futurama, it looks like things may not be as good as we all hoped. Citing an inability to meet the salary demands of the current cast, 20th Century Fox has started a casting call in hopes of finding replacement voice actors.
What does this mean? This means that there is a chance that we may get a Futurama without the Bender we all know and love(Jo DiMaggio), Leela (Katey Sagal), Hermes (Phil LaMarr), and even Fry (Billy West), among others! Not to mention, many of these actors play numerous other characters in the series that would be affected by the change.
Nothing is set in stone yet, and many believe it may be a publicity stunt for Comicon, or some sort of weird bargaining chip to get the actors to negotiate, but that doesn't mean Futurama fans shouldn't be concerned.

reports, 9h 43m agoThe Fox network recently revived the once dead animated cult hit show Futurama, This was good news until they released a casting new voices for the main characters of Bender, Leela, Fry and even Zoidberg...
What is most curious is that Fox has a scheduled Comic con ewvent involving the cast of the show, no reports have been seen from the actors or matt groening himself. There is even a petition to stop this mockery of a move.

Avatar: Why Zutara?

reports, April 5, 2008I guess all Avatards more or less, have chosen a ship. Whether it is the romantic Kataang or fierce Zutara.
I myslef have chosen Kataang, since I find it the most attractive and more likely to happen. Others have chosen Zutara. I am not going to badmouth the ship, but I am, however, going to question it.
I suppose it started in the episode "The waterbending Scroll", and created a single hope for those who didn't like the Kataang idea. But I must ask you: Why? Why do you think they like each other?
Zuko only had one goal: To capture the avatar.
Katara had one wish: To free the world from the fire nation.
They have never met without fighting, so how could love blossom?
I guess many Zutara fans would say: "What about Crossroads of destiny?"
I guess I would answer: "What about it? They didn't share a passionate moment, but a moment of understanding the pain of loosing a loved one."
Again I must remind you that I'm not badmouthing Zutara. I myself sail under a dreamy ship (Tokka), and I know somehow what it feels like. But are Zutarians really expecting Zutara to happen on the show, or is it just a sweet dream like Tokka and Taang?

Tokka had potential, and though it may not happen, it still has way more potential than Zutara.
There are crazy Zutarians that think Zutara is going to happy in canon. They are, in fact, so blind that they are 100% sure of it, which is kind of amusing in a way.
What I hate is when people take the Crossroads of Destiny scene and turn it into a romance. It wasn't; looking back, the scene was beautiful in emotional quality and building a bridge of understanding. However, it was understanding, not love, that emerged in that cave.
And people use that against all the epic Kataang scenes filled with love and kisses. It's pretty outrageous; I'm sure Mike and Bryan never even thought of Zutara until the fandom showed it to THEM xD
