Help get a handle on Handhelds

reports, April 7, 2008So, as I'm sure you already know, we're working to streamline the Handhelds - adding new sub-cats, consolidating others and taking some away. We're also in the process of updating the FAQ's and the subcat descriptions. We need some standardizations and the Gallery is lacking.
What's that mean for you?
Hopefully an easier-to-navigate handhelds gallery for both searching and submitting deviations.
Now it's time to shine. I've received some input on what to include - iPhone, PSP themes - and I'm looking for more.
Have a gallery idea? Lay it on me. Want to help with the gallery descriptions? Let me know.

Also, to re-spark interest in the gallery I have a contest planned as well. What kind of contest? You'll just have to wait and see.
COPYRIGHT VIOLATIONS
There seems to be some confusion on what is allowed within deviantArt in terms of copyright violations. All items submitted need to be your own creation. Pictures found on the internet cannot be used - even if they have been given the photoshop filter treatment. Fan art is great and widely accepted - but make sure it is yours. FAQ #8: What does deviantART consider to be Art Theft? Unless you are using clearly defined stock photos - your piece may be violating dA's policy.

Screenshots of your handheld showing your great new application, theme or wallpaper go in the Destop & Customization> Desktop Screenshots> Handhelds sub-category, not the Handhelds Gallery...UNLESS you are including the wallpaper/themes as the download.
