reports, July 1Sex and sexuality in art are some of my favorite things, and certainly sometimes arousal is part of this, but more importantly, it is FAR MORE than about simple arousal, as porn is. One of my deviantart friends, 
, said that art of a sexual nature can “ provoke thoughts about our dreams, fears, desires, and place in the world"...yes! Well done art that deals with sex exposes the soul of the subject or act in question, not just the naughty bits. I feel that any kind of work on this site that looks at sexuality in a thoughtful or artistic or critical or celebratory, etc. way is certainly appropriate content for an art site, because, of course, this work is actually ART.

Blue is the overwhelming "favorite color."
The color of ocean and sky, blue is perceived as a constant in our lives. As the collective color of the spirit, it invokes rest and can cause the body to produce chemicals that are calming; however, not all blues are serene and sedate. 
Electric or brilliant blues become dynamic and dramatic -- an engaging color that expresses exhilaration. Some shades or the overuse of blue may come across as cold or uncaring. 
Blue is the least "gender specific" color, having equal appeal to both men and women. 
In Chinese culture, colors corresponded with the five primary elements, the directions, and the four seasons. Blue was associated with wood, east, and spring. 
Other interesting things about BLUE:Blue, blue-green, and green are sacred colors in Iran, where they symbolize paradise. In India, paintings of the god Krishna often depict him as having blue skin. In the United States, post office mailboxes are typically blue.Blue is the favored color choice for toothbrushes. Owls are the only birds that can see the color blue.Mosquito's are attracted to the color blue twice as much as to any other color.
