Under the art news section, there are categories for almost every art genre except for flash. It seems that flash is becoming less important to the deviantArt community. Since the flash gallery already needs reconstruction, flash news should be important. So to show that flash is still an important part of deviantArt, here's the:
Top Ten Flash features!
1.
Advanced ninja 3 has some amazing physics and is fun and addictive. An absolute flash masterpiece by ~Supa-Monky
2.
Flash orbit by ~photograph-1975 is another flash which uses physics for gameplay. A fun and addicting game.
3.
_dRive by ~axcho is an extremely amazing piece. Using sound splits to create a game is genius.
4.
Thing Thing 4, the fourth game in the awesome shooter series. Truly a work of interactive art by :devDieseasedWeasle:
5.
Interceptor game by ~theCheeseGrater is a like a colorful and fasted paced version of Asteroids.
6.
Paper Golf 2 by ~GameJacket is a fun twist on an old game. Cool music and challenging gameplay.
7.
Archery by ~dyljos is all the fun of archery, put into a flash!
8.
Roulette, one of my favorite casino games, is now on flash. A very addictive gambling game by ~rocketship123.
9.
Bricks by ~neven is a good old fashioned arcade game with good scripting.
10.
Trap maker by ~AlexFili is a really cool defensive game. Setting traps in any way you can makes it fun and tactical.
These flash artists have some real talent, and i'd like to see them and other artists continue to create.
Note that even though the flashes are in a rating based order, I could not include every flash game that had a lot of work put into it.

Flash gallery is mostly about animations/web toys/games. And all those genres require a lot of different skills some of which are not something you can start learning easily... So both Flash artist and quality flash work amount is kind of small relatively to other galleries.
Though i eagerly wait for better flash gallery restructure and my list of cool Flash artists slowly grows. Also we can makes works in which then other people can create peaces of art and submit back to DA. I doubt that any other type of artists can do that
