Every summer I host a Rurouni Kenshin fanart contest at my site, hakubaikou.com.

The vast majority of participants have DA accounts, and many of the prizes are DA subscriptions, so I thought I'd post the news here as well.

This isn't a typical fanart contest. Technical skill is NOT the only criterion we judge by. Original interpretations and original styled art are highly encouraged.

Deadline: 15.Aug.2008

Rules:

• No copying or art theft.


• Image dimensions: 1000x1000 or less


• Files : JPG, 250kb or less


• Maximum 3 entries per contestant


• Fill out an entry form for each submission. Entry form can be found at my site. (Sorry, I have to do this since this contest is spread out over so many sites. I wouldn't want to lose any entries.)

Prizes:

• 1st Place: 1 year DA subscription (among other choices)
