There are many observations some of you may make regarding this news post. Some of those may come as a result of it being my first post, so some of your thoughts may be critiques of my format, writing, or content- and I am open to that. Feel free to share your thoughts on anything I write or create, as long as you can do so tastefully and positively as much as possible.

Now, onto what this article and those that follow it, are about. Each week I will feature some of the art which I find floating around deviantart. As much as possible, I want to feature art that has very little exposure, from artists who have had little exposure. Artists in general receive very little appreciation, and in general are hard on themselves and their artwork. I would like to emphasize that I will not strictly focus on those with little exposure (or how you define what is too much exposure). As much as I can I want to get pieces of art from those who haven't, so If you know of some such art, whether it be your own or someone elses, please send it to me. I also would like to either have a certain theme or topic to the pieces and article as a whole or part. If I have enough content, the whole article could focus on deviations related to the harmony of music and art, or video games, or a certain emotion, or anything. I'd like some input from you for that. I'm really quite flexible, and I like to go with the flow, so I will see where this takes me. I'd like to even hold some contests and some such things in the future.

There is one last thing I would like to mention. I would love for you to send me notes or contact me in any way regarding having one of your own pieces being featured.

Optimal Conditions For Being Featured:

1.) The deviation has less than 20 favorites or 100 views. Although it always depends, and I will still take into consideration anything which isnt already heavily featured or viewed.

2.) Please view or favorite some of the art, and leave positive feedback or a helpful critique for the artist. How to Analyze and Critique a Photo

3.) I would like you to either leave a comment or some sort of positive feedback here. You don't have to, but It would be nice.Your thoughts and comments are appreciated.

Now, to the art. Since It is feeling more and more like Spring every day (well, because it is Spring, but only recently has weather been showing it were I live), It is only appropriate that I feature some flowers and other blooming plants.

Well, this is my first news posting. I hope you enjoy and appreciate these photos, their photographers, and the planet they capture.

I'm thinking about making the theme for next week being GREEN, since green is the color of spring. I also have some other ideas, but I think I'll save them for the future.
