Hooray! It's the Radio Phone-In competition!

Ok, we're really excited about this. Radio Phone-In is the music band created by *jojodrums and also featuring =FunkyLilith. We’re starting to get the ‘show on the road’ and we thought it would be a great idea to run a competition here on Deviant Art. We already had a dA venture with the track I Used To Feel Alive in which featured not one, not two, but five deviants, providing backing vocals and of course our first ever track as RPI Sam Likes To Dance which featured on the main vocals. So it was only natural that we involved deviants yet again!

About the competition:

--Design an album cover---

The idea is for you to design us an album cover which we can transfer easily to badges, T-Shirts and flyers.

We will be investing in a GIG BOX from Badges For Bands so that should give you an idea of what the badges, T-Shirts and flyers will look like.

The album will initially be a digital release with a small run of limited edition CDs for fans who like to have the physical product!

Requirements:

Anyone who is a member of Deviant Art can enter. The only categories we will not accept are anything relating to nude photography/art and/or anything with sexual content, nor fan art (which could land us in copyright trouble). You must be the owner of any photograph you decided to use for the contest and it has to be original work for the contest (i.e. artwork that hasn't previously been published). We cannot stress the importance of originality and copyright ownership enough!

All we need you to do is upload your submission onto dA and send *jojodrums a note with a link to the deviation. Make sure the original image is at least 300dpi and can fit nicely onto a CD cover! Your name will obviously be mentioned in the credits of the CD alongside the contact details you wish to provide (email, deviantART page, etc.).

The artwork must include the album title: The Radio Is Your Friend and the band name: Radio Phone-In.

We are an electro band. It is advisable that you visit our MySpace page HERE to get a feel of what we're about and how we do it!

Please do NOT include any pictures of the band members in your design as the line-up is not yet complete or even definite.
