reports, April 21, 2008- A DeviantART Lolcat Feature -
Ok! Here's the lolcat feature I've promised some aeons ago.
While browsing DA I've noticed some nasty attitude towards Lol-things and humour crap in general... looks much like they're not "up to the standard", i.e. not artsy enough to be worth featuring on the site.
Well, this feature is an attempt to prove the opposite.
The rules:
- pics are the lol-thing maker's property, or they're borrowed from another user (credited, better with a link to the original)
- thery're visually well done, not just a random pic with a random quote thrown in; they're as visually appealing as they get, not just bad snapshots with writings
- they're ideally not generator-made, and the standard black-outlined white font is a must (kind of)
The LOL-deviations in this feature don't cover everything I've found out there,
just a shortlist of the funniest and/or best done lol-things.
Rules, not chains
Attached to the feature, I've placed a few funny and worthy deviations which didn't actually fit the rules above.

I've sorted out deviantions according to the following categories:
cats, other animals, misc (various subjects or medias), LOL-stamps and "off contest" (infringing on one or more rule, but funny/well done enough to deserve some spotlight).
