FOX 44 - A New Beginning

~WaffleRyebread:iconWaffleRyebread: reports, April 21
Starting April 28, 2008 at 5:00pm ET/CT daylight time, FOX 44 will be brodcasting the very first episodes of "The Simpsons" (which started 20 yrs ago). It is estimated it will take about 2 year to "unfold" all the episodes. This means it will take to years to complete ALL the episodes up to present time.

For all those who never seen the 1st, 2nd, & even 3rd season of "The Simpsons" (myself included), this is great news! I am however not sure if all FOX stations across the US will be doing the same, but for all those who receive FOX 44, we will be able to see the first Simpsons episode!

Enjoy FOX fans!

Yay, I agree. I miss Fox Kids a lot. I miss watching Digimon, Monkoli Knights, & even Medabots. I even miss the 1st year of the FoxBox Saturday morning line-up, that included Kirby, Fighting Foodons, UltraMan Tiga, Stargate Infinity, & even Ultimate Muscle. Now these days, the FOX Saturday morning line-up is just baaaad. :bleh:

actually I was talking about the cartoons back in the early to mid 90's. especially a little show called "SatAM" by it's fans.

early mid 90s? Oh I remember that time. They broadcasted Beetlejuice, Goosebumps, Woody Wood Pecker, & all kinds of American-made shows. Anime shows did not come on until about 1997, not sure though.

Did SatAM have a shape-shifting bunny character?, I don't remember.

it was one of the first "Sonic the Hedgehog" shows. there was another released on the same network at the same time called "the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog," but it was nowhere close to as good.

as for anime, I think FOX first showed Pokemon and then it exploded from there. if I remember correctly, after the anime explosion, almost all of the kids shows on FOX were Japanese. it's really a shame too because "4Kids animation" edited all of the shows to be more American Tv friendly and thus much of the creators original input was lost. truly, I like American made cartoons from the early days much better than any period of anime or todays cartoons because they didn't use grotesque elements to get a laugh and some of them could have some well written plot lines. todays cartoons are like a dumbed down kids version of "Benny Hill" shows. yep, I get real nostalgic about my old cartoons. I even downloaded the complete "Sat-am" collection.
