Street may not be all she shoots, but `
glitterdarkstar knows what its about, and has put forth many amazing street shots amongst her equally amazing portraits.
Take a look at her gallery, and prepare to be amazed.. [`

How long have you been shooting (in total) and when did you start shooting Street?I have always had a deep passion for photography as well as all the other visual arts too.
My interest was implemented three years ago when I bought my first digital camera precisely in October 2005. I have learned the rudiments attending a photography course (when I first started), then I engaged myself to the search of my personal style. And it was just because of this search that I have moved closer to street photography. I have always found it very interesting to seize people and their attitudes more spontaneous and curious and is on the road that are the most engaging subjects.
What inspired you to shoot street?I have always been a great observer and a person very voracious of art, I have kept this attitude also on deviantART. Observing daily the Daily Deviations I discovered `
cweeks as Gallery Director for the Street Photography category and I loved the DD's he has always selected with taste and competence. So I can say that my first inspiration was Chris Weeks and his great photographic taste.
What goes through your mind while you explore the streets?Nothing, if I have to be sincere. It is a little like being a adventurer that launches to an exploration of an unknown world: you never know what will be.
When I go out there only myself, my third eye and my camera, nothing more: there are times that nothing happens while others in which I can take pictures that fill me with satisfaction. With the experience I have learned to pay great attention to the people and no matter how long should I wait if I have a good subject I know that will give me the opportunity to make a good shot.
At first did you feel comfortable shooting people? It cames out very natural and I do not have many problems because I have the healthy habit of not thinking when shooting, the camera is just an extension of my mind, only an instrument, so I am very much to my ease although I'm outdoor taking photos.
How did you overcome that fear (or) Do you have any advice for people looking to overcome that fear?I'm use to go out for a photographic session with my boyfriend `
dibbi and I admit that to be in two with the camera on the road makes me feel more secure, so maybe to be not alone can be a cure for fear or shyness.
Anyway lots of time I noticed that people realize that I was photographing them, but they did not seem angry or ashamed in front of the lens, indeed they often looked happy to pose for me without flinching.
Can you show us your favorite street photograph (from your gallery) and explain why it is your
?
Maybe cause it is my first one or perhaps 'cause when I have taken this one, I have done it first with the heart and soul then with the camera.
'Cause this girl moves me everytime I look at this pic, 'cause it is a magic moment of my life.
Can you show us your favorite street photograph (from ANY dA gallery) and explain why it is your
?
This one is the one I'd love to have shot myself. Ironic and brilliant from every point of view. Something special. But there are millions I love.
On the street, what is your favorite subject?People. A place without humans for me is an empty place , without a story to tell us. People are all I want to shot.
What is the best tip you can give to others?I suggest to everyone to take the camera and go for a walk. In every place all over the world there are stories which waiting to be told. We are the tellers, this is our duty.

Horribly intrusive watermarks are tacky. If you're concerned about people stealing your photos, don't post them on the internet.
