Surely some CEO's assistant at Hallmark brought up the numerous calls from his mistress, late night "meetings" and stories she has to tell his wife... and thus today's holiday was born.
A day when we all find out who has the most secrets to ensure stay hidden.
Well it's pretty quiet here. The President of the company bought a bouquet of flowers and some girly smelly hand lotiony stuff for our office manager, and the rest of us made sure to thank/well-wish her on the holiday. We'd have all gone fucking crazy without her here, that's for sure.
Make sure to butter up your respective front desk girl / office manager / personal assistant / secretary... maybe you'll have a chance of getting your phone calls transfers without them "accidentally" getting dropped in the transfer, and maybe getting your "Boss demands1pm meeting with client today" messages before 2:30pm.
