I know I'm REALLY late for this, for the CGA's B-day and launch date for the 1st edition of the Manga was on April 4th.
However, due to an amount of overwhelming work from my school and other things that won't even walk on this Earth basically with my consciousness clean of them, I now launch this simple contest basically 1 month late.

The CGA manga is celebrating it's 7th year and the girls themselves are celebrating 18 years!
For this special date there is one challenge: to draw them.

1 year ago I made the 10th Anniversary Gs Saga contests with bright results and a winner of a 6 month (2 of 3 months) subscription, a drawing of their character and more.

How to Participate

Just check my gallery for references and draw them out.
There are 7 Cyber Girls you can choose from which are:

Keiko - Purple Fighter Unit 000 was the first of the series. Tomboish Keiko has a superhuman strength an fast physical reflexes. She uses a whip for weapon. Anew to her is the ability to create electricity waves and bolts. Although 18, she has only lives 2 years, for the other 16 she was held on stasis.
Yoshiko - Blue Gunner Unit 001 also dubbed the Blue Leader or Bleue Dirigeante has perfect aim (while concentrated which is seldom) and manageability with any hand weapon. In Rebirth, her red orb is shown to be a part of her that was lost while the 'cybering' process. When the two merge, she becomes Xanadu - the lost seed from the Ancient Goddess of Machines Sephira.
Yoko - Orange Acrobat Unit 002 is cute and neat but also really useful. As the Orange Acrobat she has the fastest reflexes of the girls. Her weapon is as quirky and changeable as she is: the Trackball can take almost any weapon or single-user vehicle -mostly changed to a 'lightsaber-like' weapon- and also absorb a unlimited quantity of things which can be hurled back at the time of use.
Yoko's dream is to become a seiyuu and it's represented dearly as one of her newly abilities is to use her voice to make sonic booms.
Kazuko - Green Hacker Unit 003 is the cold strategist of the team, beautiful as exact. Although the ice has started to melt lately after a mission in Revolutions. In the inside she's actually very sentimental and always worried about the wellbeing of her sisters. As her name says, she uses her headphones to display a trans lucid visor to hack wirelessly into devices. If that fails, she uses a connector on the back of her head to connect to them for faster and more efficient hacking. She also displays a powerful - yet unstable - array of psychic abilities.
Minako - Red Bomber Unit 004 is the most peppy, sarcastic, posh and sexist of the girls. She uses her 'natural charms' to lure her victims to submission... before she bombs them off.
She can create and repair devices from scratch, using simple or complicated materials. This is handy when it comes to making her own bombs. Lately is discovered her ability to create and manipulate fire. A handy addition for the explosive member of the sisters
Hiroko - White Healer Unit 005 is the most frail of the sisters but the one who has more surprises on her sleeve. She can create powerful illusions - the truth is that most of them are nothing more than other dimensions. Also within such is the ability to change the form of the things, of course this is only illusionary and will not change the composition of the thing. Due to the 'twin' situation of Sadako living within her own body, Hiroko is able to use her ability for something else: astral projection: She can place herself out of her own body and 'solidify' at some point, useful for the 'twin's' double attacks. She can also heal wounds - as her name says - but depending on the damage is how much energy - or even life force - she has to give in return.
Sadako - Black Chaos Unit 006 is the most unstable of the girls. Having her K3 shut at a short age, she grew in a dark and cold ambiance that shaped her into a merciless assassin. She can control both matter and anti-matter which she can merge to create portals in which she can dive in an transport. This is also helped with Hiroko's ability and she can actually create wormholes with them to travel not only to another place but also to another time and even dimension. With the reactivation of the K3 later on CGA-Dimensions, she doesn't open but decided to collaborate with the rest. She can absorb energy easily to power herself up, and also to return back the blows with double the power.

You can draw them as you like, you can even submit mature pictures just as it complies with ToS. Flash animations are fine although a plus. Pixel art is also welcomed.

The Deadline

The contests starts as soon as this is published, ending on July 4th 2008.
That's 2 months folks, and better, in the summer.

Upon request I might extend the deadline, only if it complies (aka: there are enough entries to force the extension or there are none at all.)

If there less than 3 entries by the Deadline, the contest will be extended 1 month more. If there are no entries by then, the contest shall be judged with the 3 entries and only 1 prize of the shown will be given (most likely the Journal Mention and the Subscription). If there is only 1 entry by the Deadline, it shall be extended 2 weeks. If there is no more entries, the contest shall be canceled
The Drawing offered cannot have offensive material towards others but it can be mature. Please do note my drawing limitations such as Mecha, cars, mechanics, etc
The choices of the judges are final.
In case the winner has already a subscription, he/she has the option of holding it until his/hers ends. By that time, one must note the contest holder (GsLucky) about the deal. For that, a note shall be shown (one that will be sent to all winners to claim their prizes). He/she may also choose the place the winning subscription to another deviant.
The Winner can choose whether to be sent the Drawing printed or not. Also, in case he/she does choose to let it be sent, he/she must provide correct and real address. It does not have to be from the home, but from the usual and most comfortable mailing address. Also, a file shall be sent with the drawing. Such drawing can be posted on the winner's page, giving credit to the author.

Who are the Cyber Girls

The Cyber Girls is an original Manga series I started in 2000 for a school newspaper as Akihabara Madness, making fun of the Otakus and their quirkiness (represented mostly with Yoshiko).
Due the local success, I decided to launch in the Internet the 1st edition of the manga: Cyber Girls from Akihabara
Until 2005 I continued the series but well, I stopped due to school work of High School and it's been in hiatus since, continued in a crossover Fanfiction you can find here:

Yes, actually I can say I encourage you to do so, but of course that won't give you more or less chances to win. But that you can draw the group, yes you may

Can I put them with my OC char?

Sure, why not? As long as the CGA stay true to their persona

Say... can I make OC Cyber Girls?
No. Although, there is this something you might want to consider: there are actually 10 Cyber Girls. This means 3 more than the ones shown.
They are cannon, I have their powers and abilities but sadly the only thing that I miss is how they look...
So, if you wanna exert your OC creativity you can help me create the appearance for these new girls with full credit back! (This means that when I draw them it'll be (C) to You and GsLucky (me).
The names of the girls are:

Natsuko - Brown Mechanic - Unit 007 is able to move metal's flow at will as well to make her whole body of this element. This allows her to enter machines and computers and manipulate them as another limb.
Momoko - Pink Dasher Unit 008 is the fastest of them all. Somewhat taller than Yoko, but keeping her slim and petite frame, she can bolt at speeds that go to 780 km/h. Also, she can manipulate the wind flow and create razor winds
Hanako - Teal Shaper The Final unit, unit 009, can change to what ever form she desires, as long as she had either physical contact or knows the shape. If she does have the physical contact, she can not only change her form to the one she touches but also mimic their powers completely. Her ability allows her to shift the moods of the people around her, using them mostly to provide the places she goes with a warm aura. She's the only declared Lesbian from the girls

Full credit you say?
Yes, full credit. Of course you can always give the rights to me... but that would be plain wrong wouldn't it?

What about if I still want to do an OC Cyber Girl and it's not within the 3 you just told me?
In that case I would say no. I gave you a chance there to utilize your creativity in something not fully formed. This is a Cyber Girl contest. I might make an OC one later.
