Let's take a trip back to the past... you're sitting at a desk in school, or at home, or elsewhere, and you're drawing or painting or otherwise being creative, and after hours (or minutes) of work, you finally finish... and you've created a masterpiece. It's amazing; you totally have to show it off to your friends or stick it on the wall or something.

Back to the present now. You find said masterpiece, and it's no longer a masterpiece in your eyes. In fact, it sucks ass. But, if you liked it so much then... why can't you still like it now?

Give the past another chance!

So often we make things that we are proud of until we look back a few years down the road and realize that we could do so much better. The purpose of Give the Past Another Chance is to prove that we can make it better. Dig out those old drawings or photos or whatever and redraw it to look better, or retake a similar photo, write a similar, more refined poem... whatever it is that you do! Put the experience you've had since first making that piece to good use and stun yourself with your improvement!
