Manga and Anime - Did You Know?
This segment of the article will be introducing you to some things that you may or may not have know about the Manga and Anime galleries.
- Did you know that even if the pixel dolls are in Anime/Manga style that they should still be placed in the Pixel Art gallery and not in the Anime/Manga gallery?
- Did you know that your Anime/Manga styled art is only classified as 3D if it was done in a program such as Maya or Poser? Otherwise it is considered a digital painting or drawing because it is 2D and not 3D.
- Did you know that there is a seperate gallery for Fan Art? Even if it's Anime/Manga style, if it's Fan Art, it belongs in that gallery.
- Did you know there are Monthly Repeating Contests for the Anime/Manga gallery? Currently they are on hiatus but will be returning soon!
- Did you know that in order to post in the Oekaki gallery your artwork needs to have been created in an oekaki program such as Oekaki BBS, Paint BBS, MS Paint, Shi Painter and Lascaux Sketch?
- Did you know that a screen shot from an anime or a scan from a manga is a copyright violation? FAQ #578: What does deviantART consider to be a proper screenshot?
Lets make this week as fun as possible!
