Okay, everybody knows what's Lolcat but what is caturday?
According to www.urbandictionary.com:
Caturday is "A meme created by 4chan that many forums and discussion boards have adopted" and also "A glorious holiday in which the feline race is celebrated".
Caturdays are todays lolcat 
According to Reference.com, "A Lolcat is an image combining a photograph of an animal, most frequently a cat, with a subjectively humorous and idiosyncratic caption in broken English referred to as Kitty Pidgin, or lolspeak. The idea originated on 4chan imageboards as Caturday.
(...) Many of the first lolcats are believed to have originated from 4chan sometime around 2005. The existence of the word "lolcat" can be attested to date from before June 2006 (the domain name "lolcats.com" was registered on June 14, 2006 .) The News Journal states that "some trace the lolcats back to the site 4chan, which features bizarre cat pictures on Saturdays, or 'Caturdays'." Ikenburg adds that the images have been "slinking around the Internet for years under various labels, but they didn't become a sensation until early 2007 with the advent of I Can Has Cheezburger?
