First off, for those whom are not familiar with what this project involves, the Naruverse is a project set to build an original storyline set in the Naruto Universe created by Masashi Kishimoto, by a group of artists here on Deviant Art, with the aim to promote original characters belonging to the Naruto Fans out there.

Below are the rules and guidelines to build a character for the Naruverse storyline. Before you submit a character, please read the rules, terms and all the details. If your character does not fit the guidelines we have provided, and your character is not posted as described below, then chances are that your character is going to be overlooked by our team, and none of us want that to happen.

.:: How To Submit ::.

<sub>To submit a character to the Naruverse, please follow the guidelines below:-

Step 00: You MUST be a club watcher to submit a character. It's not really that big of a price to pay.

Step 01: Read the rules!

Step 02: Copy the sheet and fill it in with all the details of your OC !!!

Step 03: Double check with the guidelines to make sure you didn't overlook any rules!

Step 04: Send us your sheet with all your OC's details by note or email. ( Our email address is naruverse@gmail.com )

Step 05: Make sure that the subject of your note/email is “Character Submission” and also make sure the add your name, last name and nickname, so that we can keep record of which character belongs to you.

Step 06:Wait patiently for review dates and our replies. You shall receive a reply stating if your character was approved or rejected.


Once your character is picked, he or she will be listed down on our character sheet and we will produce a character sheet for him or her. Protagonist characters' sheet looks like the ones in the thumbnails below.</sub>

.:: Rules and Guidelines ::.

<sub>Below are a set of rules and guidelines. Remember that your character has to abide by these rules before submitting him or her to the Naruverse.

01. Originality - No characters which are in any way related to the canon characters in Kishimoto's Naruto will be allowed. The characters have to be fresh and original, with NO affiliation to any of the clans or organizations listed below:-

-Akatsuki-
-Orochimaru-

This also mean that there will be no mixture of bloodlines between any of these clans, such as Sharingan and Byakugan, or any other similar ideas.

02. Age Range - We feel that to keep the story realistic, we needed to set a small guideline for the ages which the characters can be allowed to achieve what rank. We made this slight change cause we felt that no leaders of no villages would send 12 years olds to fight bandits and other similar ventures. Unfortunately, this is a rule which is set in stone, and no alterations of it will be tolerated. The age guideline are set below:-

Academy Students - Age 12 to 16, considered as a dropout thereafter.
Genin - Age 14 to 18, can only enter for next examination on special permission.
Chuunin - Age 16 to 22, can only enter for next examination on special permission.
Jounin - 18 and Over
Special Jounin - 22 and Over
Anbu - 22 and Over
Hokage - No characters can apply for this position.

The Naruverse also welcomes fan artists who have invested their efforts into creating a Naruverse based character to star in our project, and to bring this character to life. When you agree to hand out your character to the Naruverse, the writers and designers have the right to alter details about that particular character in order for him or her to suit the timeline better.

You character will also be available to appear on art books, doujins, posters and other merchandise related to the Naruverse.</sub>
