Daniel, *
dskphotography shoots out of the Los Angeles area, and is proficient in many areas of photography, but today we ask him about his street endeavors.

How long have you been shooting (in total) and when did you start shooting Street 8 years i have always shot street but it comes and goes as an art street photography is one of my true loves a long side with nudes and commercial glam lol(where i make my money)
What inspired you to shoot street? it has a unique charm unlike all else in photography its more like hunting and less like the usual set up studio work I am more known for
What goes through your mind while you explore the streets?relationships between myself the light and the subject its zen man zen.
At first did you feel comfortable shooting people? No not at all I feel a lot of guilt when i go out If i could ever get over that id be much better
How did you overcome that fear (or) Do you have any advice for people looking to overcome that fear?honestly i wish i could the only advice i can give is go out to main street in your town and shoot whats feels comfortable and familiar and develop a mindset for this you will build up a perfect approach in days from there you can go anywhere and be fearless that's the advice i was given
Can you show us your favorite street photograph (from your gallery) and explain why it is your
?
this is my personal favorite from my gallery its open to interpretation its emotionless everyone can relate to this simple photo
Can you show us your favorite street photograph (from ANY dA gallery) and explain why it is your favorite?
this is an image that delfonski struggled with shooting the man was in his comfort zone theres something unexplainable beautiful to a street shooter about this image i believe but to tell you the truth I dont have one image I love more than others if you want to see some good street shooting traditionally speaking check out both

and

's galleries.
On the street, what is your favorite subject? people lol
[aint it the truth.. i think its a given haha]What is the best tip you can give to others?Shoot film.. it just looks better

[joking] Do not i repeat do not judge the streets just observe and document in the best light
Favorite photographer and why?Henri cartier-bresson or
Weegee!! Bresson defined street and Weegee defined photojournalism.
Anything else (or nothing else) you may think is relevant?Honestly, get a small camera with a wide lens the key to a good street shot isn't anything but environment and relationship between the subject and the environment
thanks bro that was fun.

[ Thank you Daniel for taking the time to answer my questions. ]

My job consists of basically masking my contempt for the assholes in charge, and, at least once a day, retiring to the men's room so I can jerk off while I fantasize about a life that doesn't so closely resemble Hell ~Lester Burnham
