1. An idea of something formed by mentally combining all its characteristics or particulars; a construct.
2. Something formed in the mind; a thought or notion.
3. A directly conceived or intuited object of thought.
In short, a concept is an idea. It can range from anything to love, to hate, and all around the world and back again to global warming. The real beauty of it, though, is catching it on film. Whether it's pre-planned and well-thought out or spur-of-the-moment, conceptual photographs take a spin on creativity and challenge our minds to think in the most unusual ways. They also have the power to speak soft but carry a strong voice. Either way you spin it, Conceptual Photographers share their ideas with the world in one of the most unique ways. So this news article is dedicated to honoring those great minds of dA. <3333
