I'm in Canada but I sure hope that the bill doesn't go through.

I think this effects the ordinary people that post their photos on any site for their family to see. They do it quiet innocently and aren't really aware of how their personal photos can be used.

:bulletblue: They wont resize their photos, so original sizes will be available

:bulletblue: They dont live online and won't even notice if their picture is used

:bulletblue: It is easy for people to take these photos and use them thus making it almost impossible to track them.

:bulletblue: Older users aren't as Internet savvy and will innocently put stuff up.

This doesn't even include the whole issue of an artists livelihood being compromised.

I'm afraid that because this bill was labeled as drama that people are not even going to look at what is happening with it. As an art community I would hope that we could have open and thoughtful discussion about this.
