This is the third addition of my series, "The Art of Anthropomorphism", in which I'll be sharing a small collection of anthro artworks that I've selected to feature.
My goal with this series is to share exeptional anthro artwork I've found around the site with the rest of the community and show the diverse styles and subjects it has to offer. As with anime and many others, there are certian negative stigmas surrounding this genre. Those of which include that it is exclusively sexual, fetish based or poorly drawn. While there is no denying such things do exist within and plauge this genre, it is unfortunate that the bad side of it can have such an adverse effect on the reputations of anthro artists who do not necissarily fall under this category. It can also be very detrimental to their self-esteem, overall pride in their work, as well as the type of audiences they attract. My goal with this series to enlighten and give a bit of positive exposure.
Before I move on to the features, I'd like to answer some questions people may have:
What is the purpose of this series? To educate and provide the general public of DeviantART with
exeptional and diverse anthro works.
So what exactly is this "Anthro" art, anyway? To put it simply, Anthropomorphism is to give human characteristics
to non-human things. For an in-depth deffinition, please refer to

So you're trying to get some unknown artists seen here,
right?Well, no. Not exclusively unknown anyway. Although I'm all for
exposing hidden talent and featuring intriguing pieces by unknown
artists, that is not really the purpose of this particular
series. The idea here is to get exeptional, unique and eye catching pieces of anthro art out to the general population of DA outside of its normal 'fanbase' (that being, of course, other anthro artists) and perhaps show them that all they may have previously been seeing or heard of the genre isn't all there is to it.
I was wondering, I've seen some pretty awesome anthro pieces around, too. Can you feature them as well?I'm always open to suggestions. Just drop me a note with the works
you think are feature worthy and I'll consider it for my next issue.
However, I must set a few guidelines first: Please do not suggest yourself or suggest someone just because they're a personal friend of yours. The point is to find exeptional pieces to feature for the community, not for your personal advertisement. I'd also appreciate it if you'd keep any suggestions clean. Quality artwork and unusual subjects are always a plus.
I hope I've given a clear understanding of what my goal is for this series. Here are the Issue's features:
