Charmed theme Art Contest by CharmedSouls

reports, May 11CharmedSouls, a Charmed fan club and chatroom, is having a contest from April 18, 2008 5am Eastern time through June 18, 2008 5 am Eastern time.
The theme is "Spring". So you can draw your favorite character or characters in Springtime situations. Make it about love in Spring time and draw your favorite character or characters and show how much you love them. Draw the love from the show such as your favorite couples on the show. Traditional art, digital art, any media is allowed; also if you want to draw them in any style is allowed, anime/manga or whatever you like best.
There must be at least 10 submissions by the deadline for the contest to continue. If we do not have 10 it will be canceled or extended if enough people want to join. The winners will be chosen by votes. You will have one week to vote after the deadline for submissions.
Contest Prizes:
1st prize: a one month subscription or if =Snapefan83 is able to it could be a 3 month subscription. Also the winner will be showcased as our Featured Deviation.
2nd prize: Commission work(a drawing of your choice) by =Cocokun
3rd prize: You will be in a chapter or two of =Snapefan83's 5 chapter Charmed fanfic. Your character will be named by you and you will get to chose if the character is good or bad. ^__^

reports, May 7Welcome, one and all, to yet another issue of Hidden Gems of Fan Art, the weekly news feature that digs up little-seen fanart and puts them on a shiny, shiny pedestal for you to gaze at in awe. Yay pedestals!
Today's feature is for a personal favorite of mine: The hit NBC show, Heroes!
Seriously. It is the hit NBC show.
And what a hit it is! Revolving around the lives of a dozen or so superpowered humans,it shows how they they discover their powers, hide them from the outside world, and try to keep the balance in their personal lives - all while avoiding the not-all-there guy who keeps trying to cut their heads open.
Fun for all!
Wo~ow. Makes one wish Season 3 would hurry up and get here, huh? x3
For next week? Well, let's see . . . for the past couple of weeks, we've had giant robots, swordfights, and video game insanity . . . what say we tone it down a few notches and have a nice, relaxing, Pixar feature? Any and all Pixar films will be honored, so don't miss it!
