The actual deadline for submitting an idea has passed- it was the end of April.

lol, i wish they did something like that for the states, but then they have that animation festival every year so i guess that kinda counts (you don't get to make a pilot if you win or something though... XD _

You guys of course do have Cal Arts... a place which is just a breeding ground for future starts of Western animation.

But the British animation industry is a very different cuttle of fish to your US animation giants. While you have New York and California as your hotstops, we have London, Bristols, and Manchester as ours.

We do have festivals here, but they tend to based around academic places, like Animex is set within the University of Teesside.
