After doing a feature of black and white works with a focus on ink, I wanted to show how color can be used. Be it monochrome, contrasting, or complimentary, colors are an incredible tool for conveying mood and emotion.

You can see the warm oranges, yellows, pinks and reds of sunrises and sunsets


Or the distinctive colors of the seasons


There are pieces where the colors are bold an vibrant


Or where they coexist more gently, in both warm tones


and in cooler moods


And even in mixes of both



And then you have the monochrome pieces of work which feature just one color, starting with the primary colors.

But we all like to experiment with more wild, mixed colors.
