& Assistant Director of Artist Relations 
The purpose of Artist Relations is to strengthen the community spirit as well as network with fellow artists so that we may bring outside opportunities to you, and help you to hone your skills. Contact the Gallery Director that best represents your art style and tell them your ideas. Need support for a contest? Advice on your artwork? Tips for how to get involved? Perhaps you have feedback for the administration. Artist Relations is your one stop shop for all of your Artistic needs. Gallery Directors are constantly giving your feedback and suggestions to us in an effort to make deviantART best represent the needs and wants of the community.

Join us in welcoming back ^limnides (formerly `RockGirl1582) as the Gallery Director of Traditional Art (we knew she couldn't stay away). We are also welcoming ^Kaotika (Film), ^Chimpantalones (emoticons), ^Kitten-of-Woe (Artisan Crafts) The Film gallery restructure is 90% complete with the final phase involving mass movement of deviations from old galleries into new ones. Please bear with us through this process, we will try to complete it as quickly as possible 
More about the restructuring can be read here here On the subject of moving deviations, there will be changes coming regarding this. While my team strives to keep the galleries free of misplaced artwork, sometimes we make mistakes and the automated note that is sent by the system is .. harsh and impersonal in our opinion. We are making changes to be able to send more personalized notes that will include information about why the image was moved and what to do if you disagree as well as information about the galleries, so we can have more communication and less slap in the face feelings. As i've said to my team, the action of moving someone's artwork is an unpleasant act, I know because mine has been moved too and it ticked me off 
We are doing everything we can to make this better, more on that when we have it implemented If you are a beta tester then you got a fun surprise as we unveiled the beta release of Project Sleek. There is a misunderstanding that this is version 6 when in fact, Project Sleek is merely a component of version 6. If you have feedback about this component, please make sure you put it on the Beta Tester Feedback Forum. We're working hard to iron out the crinkles so we can release this site wide! Project Educate is growing every day and as such it deserved it's own home. It's been a very successful project thus far and we hope you visit it at ^projecteducate and you can read about Film & Animation Week as well as what's already passed and what is coming!! I have received many notes regarding openings in Artist Relations and due to the insane level of activity with the team it's been hard to respond to them all. I will be spending time focusing on filling the remaining gaps over the next week, thank you for your patience deviantART is going to have a booth at Anime Expo!! This is a first for deviantART and we want to see as many deviants as possible!! If you're going please stop by this poll and let us know!
