ANTHRO COMMUNITY's CHOICE

WTH is this about??

Community Choice started out as a simple series of articles by ^misskittyoooo where deviants could choose one deviant’s gallery and pick three deviations from it to feature. In February 1st, ^Helewidis gave a twist to that idea and asked the Senior community to choose one deviation from a gallery and add a write-up explaining why they loved the piece so much and why we should see it. The project soon extend to non-seniors and took the form of Community Choice’s News Articles, embraced by several Gallery Directors and by everyone in deviantART.

The goal of this project is simple: To provide a fun and simple way of featuring good work from deviantART’s galleries in a collaborative spirit between Gallery Directors and the community. The purpose is to expose deviant’s artworks without the “just post thumbs” attitude - we feel this way the Featured works get the attention and respect they deserve!

So, if you feel a deviation is great and should be featured, you may want to suggest it to get a Daily Deviation (DD), but if you want to feature a whole gallery, or an anthro artist and some pictures from their galleries, then this will be the place. If we get good feedback, there will be an "Anthro Community's Choice" #2... and if nobody likes this or supports this... then the project dies here XD;;;

This is super cute and sexy! I chose this piece of art because I like the coloring that the artist gave it, and I think the playful mood is really fun.

This is such a neat concept! A scifi wolf anthro with a big gun! I like the armor and the background... It's a picture that makes me want to know the whole story.

This is so adorable, and the character has so much personality! I love the little whiskers!! I think this would make a great character for a children's book.

I am practically in love with this image! It's a unicorn girl... The artist's style is what impresses me with this piece of art. It has an ethereal grace about it.

Yamita has awesome artwork in her gallery, but the characters she turns into anthropomorphs are really original, and she makes them look awesome!

Has also some amazing anthro artwork like this.... damn, he has 4 DDs already, that proves I'm not wrong about that! So, check out the whole gallery anyway.... maybe you'll see why he get so many DDs

Seems like she uploads most of her awesome furry art to FurAffinity and not deviantART so pickings for anthro are kinda slim here, but still worth to see.

I wish to thank everyone involved in this project: So far not too many people has sent me their entries because.... well, because there were no previous issue to get to know about it xD;; I hope this new way to feature some of the wonderful art we can find at the Anthro Gallery becomes a success, and nothing would make me feel happier than to get flooded with notes with your Anthro Choices for a next news article *hint hint*
