Welcome to the General Yaoi Association of Writers and Artists!


Our Purpose



This wonderful association is the start of a new generation of Yaoi Writers and Artists starting out with the sole purpose of using this medium as a means for having some great fun and creatively thriving with this subject.


I know some of you have read the flamings of the people who don't really understand about this whole thing on Yaoi... Believing that it is sick and its a mindless waste of time just reading and writing things about men and there relationships with other men. Many people believe in the real world that when people are happy with the ones they love, the gender doesn't really count nor does it matter. A warning to you all flamers that if you do comment on this clubs opinions and insult the club as a whole you will be reported to DA immediately without excuse or warning.

But, we also know that some of our pictures and writings can be graphic so we might be a little more sensitive to what others say. Then again, all of us have our rights.



This association will try to inspire artists to create quality art and quality reading and not just smut like some of the other things on the DA currently. We hope to share our passion for Yaoi in our art and with our family here on DA. How to Join
1. Please watch GYAWA
2. Note us with the Re:"Join." In that note we require that you ask to join and what art do you have that might be featured for your first art piece here.
3. Add our Icon to your Journal or Signature and put the advertisement or your own advertisement there as well if you wish.
4. Will will reply by adding you to our members list which will be at the end of this journal.
5. We will note you back and thank you for joining.


How to Submitting Art for GYAWA

If you want to submit any art (that includes fan art, fan fiction, paintings and ECT) please note us and we will check into it. However, there is a slight catch you must either specify the pieces of art you want to be featured here or we will just pick them for you, but really it is all up to you!



1. Pick your favorite art you want us to feature.
2. Note us with Re: "Submitting _______" and give us the link in the note.
3. It will be featured shortly afterwards or in a day or two, we get very busy here
4. We will notify you by watch that an Art is Featured and we will give you all the credit thanking you for submitting.

As you can see, we have a lot of things to do but we need a good ten members before anything like this could happen! We encourage all of you to come up here and join!
