Many "big" artists who draw.. lets say wolves and maybe other animals or "Anime, Naruto fans", often doesn't reply to you're comments, even if it's a question you ask! I think it's rude and you don't get so popular when you don't reply. You can at least say: "Thank you for you're comment." instead of ignore it!

Sure, It can be pain in the ass for a big popular artist with 5.000.000 PG and 4.000 messages everytime he/she upload something. But in MY opinion I think at least they could be a little nice to say thank you instead of thinking: "Whatever, I have so many comments I don't give a shit about this one because I'm so popular."

In the end, you're watchers will stop comment you're work because they think it's worthless when you don't see the comment at all and just delete it. and some times big artists can be so overblown they think they are the best on dA and everyone else draw badder than her/himself.

Now, HOW not to be a wise guy and instead be friendly to the "smaller" artists is to follow my lead:

#1. Reply to at least the comments you think are worth to reply; Like questions and comments that sounds like: "OMG what a beautiful picture!! Iv'e never seen anything like it! you are SO totally my inspiration! What kind of pencils do you use?" something like that.

#2. Use smileys! why? because Smileys are a way to express yourself and using smileys is a sign that the artist have a sense of humor.

#3. WHATEVER YOU DO! DON'T say or even THINK to say to a artist who draw worse than you: "OMG, you draw so ugly! I can draw better than you. Amazing that you aren't ashamed to draw stuffs like that, I would!" those few words can cause so much damage to the arist it losts it's will to draw their characters or fanart.

#4. If a artist draw something that's not popular (Like me for example), don't try to say that she/he should draw something else to maybe get more pageviews and such. Everyone have their own style.

#5 Comment other works too, like you're watchers, and not just let everyone else comment just you're work because you think you are worth it.


This is all my opinions and advise (bad english, sorry) to the big artists. I can give you some examples, but that doesn't mean they are BAD!!!



I watch these artists so I know what I'm talking about! But these are great artists, but they haven't just read this yet.
