Hi! It's traditional week in ^
projecteducateSo I'm celebrating with some interviews.
Todays interview focus's on the Panda Obsessed, Amazingly awesome nudist, `
snowmaskFirstly, Please will you tell us a bit about yourself? My name is Katie, also known as Madame Franke. I am mainly French-Japanese, and I was educated in London and Hong Kong. My husband and I are both fortunate to do what we love as a profession. In my case, I am a painter.
I bake pies and cakes at least once a week, and I also love Toto toilets with in-built bidets, complete with hand-held remotes for full control of water temperature, direction, and velocity.
So, When did you first become interested in art?As far as I can remember. I first started drawing when I was 3 years old, and have never stopped since.
When did you first become aware of deviantArt?I came upon the site by "accident" a long time ago, while browsing `
precurser's personal website. Somehow I was enraptured by that little duck-poop-green button, so I clicked. And because there was this ginormous "SIGN UP HERE" banner... well I'm gullible. So here I am!
So I Herd U Liek Pandaz????(Something about your panda obsession)Who doesn't like Panda? And besides, the reason I'm working on so many Panda images is because I'm working on a book... "Panda Universe" (title not set)... you get the idea.
Where does all your inspiration come from?Everywhere. Inspiration finds me. I don't go about looking for it intentionally.
Were you Artistic in School?I was always chosen to be the "Artist" for school clubs... so I suppose I was
Do you have any more gems hidden away somewhere, Like a Website or a Hidden dA account?I have been planning a website for years but to be honest it's never been necessary in my line of profession. My work needs to be shown in person, where they tend to speak for themselves.
Perhaps one day I'll get to that.
Where are you planning on going in the future with your art, and will there be panda's Involved?I am happy to say that establishing a career in the genre of Fine Arts is a relatively new step for me, many thanks and much gratitude to my husband for his experience and support. I always knew I would be a painter since I was a child.
We have plans on establishing galleries mainly in Japan, and perhaps Europe. We are also working on both my books, and my husband's. So far I have two books in the works, one that would comprise mainly of my surrealistic paintings, and the other, as I mentioned before, is Panda Universe.
It would be great if we could establish "Panda" as a luxury brand. That's further down the road.
