I Am A Child

reports, 16h 32m agoMy little girl is so magical. With a smile she can brighten my world. The glow in her eyes when she tells one of her stories melts away all of the day's problems and concerns. For me, having a child and being able to participate in her life, watch her grow and absorb the wonders of the world, completes me as a human being.
For my latest journal feature I am presenting a visual essay on children -- works by DA artists that beg to ask the question, "Is there anything more pure, more magical than a child?" New Weekly Critiques

reports, May 18, 2008So! For those who don't know me, I am an operator on #photocritique. I see ALOT of people thumb their stuff and leave cause we might be out, etc, so, I've decided to do a weekly critique news. Ill be putting this out every sunday, spend the week giving critiques, and then do it again. ALSO, Ill pick 1 artist out the photos I get and give them a feature in that next weeks critique news. NOTE: THIS IS A CRITIQUE FOR PHOTOGRAPHS. ONLY PHOTOGRAPHS.
Some people might ask why I do this. Why? Because frankly I like giving critiques, and nice LONG critiques. I personally am subject to people giving critique like "looks nice." or "needs better lighting." and I HATE it.
How it works:
1) Comment here on the photo with a link to your photo OR send me a comment with a link to it
2) Just wait until I get to your photo
Its that simple
I do not set a limit to how many I will critique. The more, the merrier.
So, I hope you take advantage of this! Or, if all else fails, go to #photocritique and tab one of us
