thanks for pointing this out, my rss alarm for blendernation is somehow broken so I didn't notice jet ^^
looks like a lot of awesomeness, fur being especially interisting for my wolf model.
Hopfully it will be updated in the ubuntu package repository soon, otherwise I'll have to download it from blender.org
