It's been said repeatedly: DeviantART was created to showcase ART and provide a community where an artist can learn and create better if they needed. I support this as any other person on here.


Cats are quite popular here. And it seems that people will come here.., "photograph" any cat, post it up, and think they'll instantly become a star. But it doesn't quite work that way. Most people who are popular around the feline-photography community consistently produce well or greatly executed images of cats, sometimes it's pointed at a particular artistic statement, maybe it's showing the natural beauty of felines; maybe it's just plain cute or funny. I still believe it must ride on the same lines for decent photography: focus and decent exposure!

I spent some more time looking through the Cat photos of the photography section (just search cat in domesticated-animals) while on 'newest'. I wanted to see how many great images I could find, buried underneath, that have little or no love. Through about 25-30 pages (each with 120 pictures), I found these! They caught my eye, made me 'aww' and giggle. They're unique and gorgeous, all in their own ways. Film or Digital. And ALL under 15 favorites.


So please enjoy, maybe even take some time to give love where it's due, or perhaps do some exploring!
