Some of you may have already noticed that I've been making people more aware of this story over the last week.

What china is doing to these animals is beyond cruelty, and has been going on for decades with the majority of people not even realising it was happening to begin with.

If you are a firm animal lover this story may upset, but I also know that anyone here who cares about the lives of animals will want to do all they can to stop this ASAP.

This must be stopped and it must be stopped now.

2 million cats and dogs are skinned alive in china each year. That’s 230 every hour, 4 every minute of every day. These animals die excruciating deaths because according to china " its easier to skin a live warm animal that’s convulsing in agony than a dead body."

Once the skinning has taken place the animals are left on a pile to die slowly.

Their hides are sold for $1 each, and who buys these? The world does. Often the skins are mislabelled on purpose to make it appear that they are mink and sometimes even labelled "artificial fur."

What can we do about this? By signing Animal Saviours petition we hope to force China into abandoning this brutal trade in life. At the very least we can hope to demand that humane procedures are put in place that are strongly adhered to.

99% of people are unaware this even takes place. If this continues Chinas fur trade could carry on for decades. By making people aware we can stop this, please ask everyone you know to sign the petition and think twice about the way in which that animals whose fur they are buying died.
