The Sheer Importance and Acceptance of 3d Artworks

*AdigunPolack:iconAdigunPolack: reports, May 26
Hello to all of you seriously most awesome dA people and artists, and I, Adigun Azikiwe Polack, am quite honored to share with you all the sheer, powerful importance of 3-dimensional artworks and why they are most WIDELY as acceptable as Traditional art, Mixed Media, Digital art, Photography, and such a huge number of art genres on deviantART today.  I am so glad you could be with me for this special, so let us get started right now!!!

To show you the sheer reason of why the main 3-dimensional artwork genre is utterly acceptable world-wide indeed (especially on dA, too!!), here are my three importances I will personally and most gladly share with you on what makes such an artwork so spectactularly good in the first place, so better get ready!!! !!

——————————————————————————————————————————————
:bulletred: First importance:
      G R E A T   C H A R A C T E R ,   N O T   J U S T   G O O D   L O O K S .
——————————————————————————————————————————————

While there is *certainly* nothing wrong with good looks in a 3d artwork (especially with the women you create in DAZ/Poser form, too!), you need more than that in order to impress the hell out of your crowd.  And one of the main key ingredients for this here is to create such truly interesting and more convincing character development that makes the viewer want to care and admire about your main character(s) a lot, as well as even making your main audience cheer and root for them as well!!  Here are some top-notch examples of what I am talking about:

...and the same is definitely true for horses, dragons, creatures, ships, signs, machines, robots, cities, food, abstract, and such other different objects as well that can make things all the more fun and exciting to watch, such as these:

...which is another way of wowing your audiences in an amazing and eye-opening way!!!  ;)

And, you are QUITE welcome to create your own fascinating new breed of male/female character that has never ever been done before in a 3d artwork, too, because it truly and seriously helps matters a whole lot, potentially!!  B-)  Also, whether you are using a pre-made model or just creating your own from scratch, that is perfectly alright... so use whatever you can to paint up such excellent and well-developed original characters that we can really count on, care about, and even root for indeed... because that is what seriously matters the most here, mature content or not!!  Do your best!!!  :D :peace: !!

——————————————————————————————————————————————
:bulletred: Second importance:
      M A K E   T H E   3 D   A R T W O R K   T E L L   A N   E X C I T I N G   S T O R Y !
——————————————————————————————————————————————

When making a 3d artwork, the important key thing to ask yourself is, “Does this picture I am doing present such a wonderful original story and significant meaning to my main viewing audience?”... because, one of the main aims in doing this kind of art — whether fantasy, sci-fi, abstract, or otherwise — is to make good and sure that you create such a picture that sends such value, significance, and even a powerful and gripping story and meaning to your viewers... even with something fresh and downright inspiring that just fascinates and blows them clear away in such sheer awe and excitement that they just WANT to come back to it again and again, especially long after their first view of your picture has been seen the first time around.  Not an easy thing to do at first, but, with a good dose of hard-working practice and persistence, you CAN pull through this one successfully, so do not give up!!!  :D  !

Take this piece entitled “The Agoge and the Mother” by our phenomenal artist :iconrainfeatherpearl:, for example:

...in which she has conjured up such a rather sad yet so MAGNIFICENTLY powerful untold story of what ancient Sparta was like with one terrible and endlessly heart-rending separation after another between mother and child, and here, this ohhh-so-gorgeously damn sexy and most captivating Spartan woman in this picture is showing us her pain, anguish, and sadness such in a rather splendidly convincing way, it is like you can read it right off her face!!!  :D  And believe it or not, the empty birdcage on the top far-right corner of the picture actually represents an even more compelling interpretation to us to remind us all that her only young son was forever snatched away from her for such savagely brutal purposes of training up Spartan warriors there, too!!!  :wow: !  Now THAT is makes this piece so utterly damn fascinating and gripping all at once... because it *simply* knows how to tell such a powerful and epic story in such a totally exciting way indeed!!!!   :+favlove: !!

Remember ladies and gentlemen, this rule ALSO applies to many other types of art genres on dA (Digital art, Fractal art, Pixel art, Traditional art, Fan art, Photography, etc.) as well, not just 3-dimensional art alone.  That way, you have a lot of wonderful variety and still weave such an excellent tale after another, too, which is an integrally vital part of what makes an excellent varied artist out of you indeed... so let us not forget that, too!!!  :floating: !

——————————————————————————————————————————————
:bulletred: Third importance:
      T H E   “ W O W ”   F A C T O R .
——————————————————————————————————————————————

This all-important factor comes down ultimately to JUST how brilliantly damn good your 3d-based artwork really is... based on both the first two importances I now gave you as well as the *overall* art quality of that piece.  Also, remember to give the body tones of male/female characters and creatures such awesome, richest splendor and life... even with the right amounts of lighting and skin tones as well... but, there is a balance to this, so please be careful not to add too much lighting to it or you might end up confusing your audience potentially ( :o ! ), thereby losing their interest in your art piece... and you do not want that!

Having said that, please keep this one ESPECIALLY in mind: do not be afraid to create something fresh, exciting, and even damn innovative in your own 3-dimensional artwork... something that has only been done no more than only a few times as opposed to something that been done to death about a million times before.  Here is some advice to help you get started: while there is nothing wrong with creating a beautiful woman or a small group of people or dragons or whatever you like in a 3d art, I would proudly recommend you to create and prepare them in a style so fresh and also as easily captivating to your audience as you can, with such a superb and mind-blowing background that you can think of to help capture and inspire your crowd even more.

Additionally, the mood and emotion of which to create your design is *very* important, too.  Is the tone of the design so elegant and beautiful?  Fun and hilarious?  Heart-wrenching and provocative?  Sexy, loving, and smolderingly passionate?  Or is it anything so powerful and dramatic you want to make the design to be?  The possibilities are so VASTLY endless, so think it up long and hard and try to come up with the very best that you can possibly do in the sheer hopes of wowing your vast audience instead of boring them to tears, you know what I mean?   :tea: !

And deviantART is such a phenomenal place to start strutting your 3d art-creation muscle, so best of such truly awesome skill, fortune, and success to you... GO GET ‘EM!!!   !!

____________________________________

With all of the importances that I just shared gladly with you here, I believe that they should give you quite a clearer understanding of why the 3d artwork genre is as flat-out accepted indeed as any other genre of art, even in its own individual right as well.  And yet, there are some art critics out there in the world who have the nerve to think that Poser-based creations do not even count as art at all because they blatantly claim that many of those artworks simply use nothing more than just pre-made models, and would rather call it cheating or stealing as a result... well, their loss, since they couldn’t be more incorrect on that one!!  :p  Because thing is, not only is the use of pre-made models NOT necessarily cheating or stealing of any sort or form at all, but even with one of these types of models or two indeed, you can STILL make your own 3d-based creation so damn splendid and compelling that even huge amounts of art audiences will be blown away in such dead-serious awe and just adore you... and that’s the truth, regardless of what those art critics even say about it one way or the other... period, end of story.  :aww: :star:

And hey, it can happen.  :spotlight-left: :winner: :deviation: :winner: :spotlight-right:

And who knows, you might even wind up with a Daily Deviation (DD) win in the 3-dimensional artwork category yourself.  Give it a shot and go for it!!!!  :cuddle: !!

Ladies and gentlemen, I want to thank you all so deeply much for joining me in this most special news article, and I also, I MUST thank these two utterly and ravishingly splendid darlings:

      :iconbloodredsangre: ^Bloodredsangre     :iconmistresswit: ^MistressWit

...who just inspired the hell out of me personally to create this very article which came simply as a result of my brief and hour-long time on the dAmn3Dimension chat with them on Sunday, May 25, 2008... I LOVE YOU BOTH so passionately much on dA, and I could *absolutely* not have done it without you gorgeously loveliest pair, Bloodredsangre and MistressWit!!!    :blackrose:  !!

Bye for now and let’s rock this 3-dimensional joint wide open in such grandest style right here on deviantART!!!  :star:  :smooch: :star:

 :w00t!: :devart: :w00t!:
