Prologue:Being a new club it seems only natural that we have an opening contest to introduce *
ScribeSanctuary to the public and allow the dA Community an opportunity to earn some great prizes!
Introduction:*
ScribeSanctuary is an all-in-one writers club. We accept all styles and genres of literature without question. Our members are given the option to submit into three separate categories, depending on what they want.
General - allows members to show-case their work without concern of back-lashing from the club community.
Theme - allows members to get their creative juices flowing by writing a piece using our weekly themes.
Critique - allows members to bite down, brace themselves, and toss their work to the literary wolves for improvements.
The over-all idea of this club is to give dA writers, new and old, a place to share all of their works, not just certain pieces. Another concept incorporated into the club is the point system. Everything done in the club is likely to earn you a few points which, in time will gain promotions. This idea is a way to keep members active and participating in the club community.

Chapter 1: Writing ContestA sanctuary is viewed differently by each person. Some may think of it as a secret place in the woods, others may believe it to be a church, or sacred place of religion. Whatever your belief may be, we want you to help build a sanctuary for dA scribes.
This Sanctuary should be a solemn place where scribes retreat to feel safe and protected from harm. The place where stereotypes, popular ideas, and biased opinions can't touch them. Where they are free to do what they were meant to do: write in their own way.
Sit back and let your imaginative juices flow. Imagine this wonderful sanctuary and what things you might see. Then put your pen to paper and let the visuals flow through you in a descriptive fashion. Explain every minute detail, from the length of the grass to the sounds of your surroundings. Create this perfect sanctuary in your mind, then bring us in to explore it with you.
Entries may be Prose or Poetry, just be sure to have enough visual words so our artists can capture it in Chapter 2.
Chapter 2: Visual Arts ContestWhen Chapter 1 comes to a close we'll call forth all visual artists to create the sanctuary described by our writers. From the creations of the visual artists we'll make our CSS journal layout, icon, stamps, etc.
Chapter 3: Winners & PrizesOnce Chapter 1 & 2 are closed we'll move on to the part everyone anticipates. The announcement of winners and their prizes. The prizes may change as time passes. Please go to
this journal to see what the prizes are at the moment. (If it's listed in the journal, it will not be removed. The only change will be the addition of more prizes.)

If ever there was a representation of my future it would probably be an airplane crashing into the earth from a round of friendly fire aimed by the inventor of the nuclear bomb frying his eyes out.

Don't knock on Death's door.
Ring the doorbell and run away.
Death REALLY hates that.
