There is not a day that goes by where I am not amazed at what math can do for us. a lot of people wonder that and wonder why math is so important. This is where the fractal comes in. by definition a fractal is "a rough or fragmented geometric shape that can be split into parts, each of which is (at least approximately) a reduced-size copy of the whole," (Mandelbrot, B.B. (1982). The Fractal Geometry of Nature. W.H. Freeman and Company. ISBN 0-7167-1186-9.)
By today's artistic standard, it's not _quite_ the same, but regardless of the year, be in 1982 or 2008, the possibilities are indefinite. As long as we can keep counting, fractals will always be unique.
For more info on what a fractal is and how it all works, hit up this

Out of all of these wonderful pieces, I chose

as the one that stood out the most to me.
Why?
It goes above and beyond a regular fractal piece. The artist incorporated meaning into it and the vibrant colors don't just arrange themselves that way on their own.

If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn't brood. I'd type a little faster.
