Due to the massive upload rates in the galleries new and talented members of deviantART really have a hard time getting noticed. With this feature I want to give those members a head start and the exposure they deserve.
Being a club for aspiring photographers getting the acknowledgment they deserve while having fun, we came up with a new idea. "Member Spotlight" is now a running idea featuring a special member from the club every week including an interview!
From stunning landscapes to dynamic portraits, DA photographers have created some fantastic and creative photos using wide angle lenses. By employing these lenses and their trademark perspective distortion, photographers can achieve breathtaking results and produce some of the most tasty eye candy around!
With the help of my recent economic stimulus check, I was able to finally afford my very own 10-22mm! In celebration, here are some amazing photos I have found that use wide angle lenses:
Great news article! and thanks for the feature I recently sold my Nikon d70s with all my lenses (including the sigma 10-20) and bought a canon 5d with 24-70L lens. But i found out that i can't miss that much wide angle for some landscape shots so i decided to go wide again and today my canon 17-40 arrives (which is almost as wide as the 10mm on cropfactor cam) I think everybody needs a superwide angle someday, and when you got it it's hard to go back
